NECA.png Extend the “Culture of Safety” Beyond the Jobsite

CFMA recently participated in Mediaplanet’s Construction in America campaign where we united with like-minded industry leaders to advocate for how modern technology, people, and equipment are helping our construction professionals manage risk and build quality projects safely, on time, and within budget. Don’t miss the article by CFMA Chairman Samantha Hutchison, which focuses on the need to address suicide prevention and mental health in the construction industry. A Personal Safety Plan

Safety takes planning and the same holds true for mental health safety planning. This Personal Safety Plan is easy to learn and use. Some best practices:
  • Fill this out when you are well and thinking clearly.
  • It’s highly recommended to use in cooperation/collaboration with your mental health clinician.
  • Let people know they are on your plan! Talking saves lives.
